Our Foundation & Purpose

Greater Lincolnshire College was established in 2025 with a clear and focused mission: to support, empower, and uplift the communities of Greater Lincolnshire. We identified a critical gap in accessible, practical, and community-centred education and skills training. In response, we are here to provide the help, guidance, learning, and training needed in key areas such as Digital Skills, Literacy, IT Fundamentals, Computing, Cyber Security, Basic AI, Digital Foundations, and Homeschool Support.

Though a new institution in Lincolnshire, we bring a legacy of excellence. Greater Lincolnshire College is a proud subsidiary of the established Oxford College of Education (OCE) in Buckinghamshire, allowing us to combine deep local commitment with proven educational expertise.

Our Heritage: Oxford College of Education

Founded in 2017, Oxford College of Education (OCE) is a premier private college in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, accredited by ASIC with an Award for Inclusivity. With a track record of serving over 7,000 individuals through various exams, courses, and university admissions tests—and supporting over 200 candidates monthly in our test centre—OCE has deep experience in serving and uplifting local communities.

OCE’s Proven Expertise Includes:

  • Flexible Academic Programs: Online and on-campus GCSEs, IGCSEs, A-Levels, Functional Skills (Maths & English), and specialist tuition for ages 6+, including 11 Plus preparation.

We prioritise safety and trust—the majority of our UK-based team members hold current, updated DBS certifications, ensuring a secure and professional learning environment for all participants, especially vulnerable learners, children, and families accessing our homeschool support services.
